Take the taxi ride from Krasus Landing to the Tournament Grounds. Run about looking at everything to see what they all sell and where stuff is. It’s safe here - Horde can’t attack you - hurrah!

Pick up the Valiant quests from the circular tent. Try to joust. Fail. Get your 14 year old son to do it for you. Kill Scourge. This takes a little while as Holy spec - if you remember to shift to disc it happens faster (remember to switch back after because CoH in raids doesn’t work very well any more when you mouse click it). Find somewhere quiet with no Horde and it goes even faster. Fly to the “bag of bones” place. Run / ride about madly targetting stuff and spamming buttons, fall off horse, kill stuff the normal way, get new horse, try again. Give up or get son to do this as well.

Eventually your son gets fed up of doing the dailies for you, so you need to find a new solution. Find some friends. People like Asharis, Selindia and Andarlond work well. Whenever you’re online and they are too tag along and offer heals. They will then kill chillmaw and joust all the bones and kill scourge and you can do what you do best - be a damsel in distress who heals people.

Get a friend who has lots of level 80 (or near 80) characters to buy you pets. He did it again last night…. got me the Teldrassil Sprouting. He’s very cute too (the pet - I’ve never met my friend, but I’m sure he’s lovely). I’m having trouble picking which one to use now.

The Horde pets are a pain if you’re on a PVP server. You have to pay gold or find someone who can get them for you, but they want alliance ones in return, which you have already suffered enough for. I set myself a limit of 1500g per pet. I know, I know, I’m crazy. But these things mean a lot to me. So far I have 2 of them and I’m watching the AH’s and trade chat for bargains. I got the Tirisfal Batling for 1050g via trade and the Mulgore Hatchling for 1500g on the neutral AH. I have a bid pending on an Enchanted Broom. You get your gold from the dailies, from playing the auction house, or you inherit it. Sadly the glyph market isn’t quite matching up to my spending ability at the moment, so I’m going to have to do some more research and see what else I can do to make a bit more, but at least there is a limit on the number of pets I need to buy.

I am now 93 out of a possible 100 pets. I need three more tournament ones, 3 BLOODY CROCS (argh - I hate the RNG) and Scorch, who will be farmed and farmed and farmed AGAIN at the summer festival. Friends come in handy again here - I did tell you how much I love my guild, didn’t I?
