Guild Mum

Hurrah! After years of doing the Shattrah fishing daily I finally have all the crocs. Yesterday Mr Barlo rewarded me with Toothy - the elusive little croc. Here I am helping him to settle in….

This brings me to a grand total of 110 pets. Aside from Trading card, collector’s edition and special event things I have all the pets currently in game that I can get, with the exception of the Oracle Hatchling who will be mine next Children’s week. So - what next?

Maybe this will give you a clue. Yes, I think I might try to get my mount collection up a bit. I don’t think I will be quite as obsessive as the pets. There’s too much farming instances, dailies and general grind involved. Also - they don’t give me quite the same satisfaction as the pets do. I think this will be more of a slow refined thing. Who knows?

Apart from completing my pet collection, I’ve been autograph collecting in AV. I didn’t really notice that I’d looted the picture and even shrugged off the “lol” I got from a passer by, but looked at the achievement later and was proud

The guild had a few yukky raids this week which left me feeling a bit low, but that all went away last night. We went to see the tournament thingie. We cleared it all, including one-shotting the new A Noob Arak, or whatever his name is. Even though Arthas came to see us, we were not to be thwarted. That was an “interesting” fight for a healer. Basically you have to keep people barely alive. The healthier they are, the more he heals himself. So - little bits of healing dotted about and make everyone sweat was the order of the day. My grid looked like it has not looked for a long time unless a wipe was imminent. It was so against my principles - like stopping healing to wipe - it’s SO HARD! I can’t not heal. It’s against all I am bought up to hold dear.

Job done and obligatory kill shot taken, we went and tried the hard mode version. Ok, so it was HARD, but I do feel we can have a good crack at it when we go back next time.

I got a shiny new trinket which I saw drop last week when I wasn’t there. I didn’t realise it was an “on-use” one. I need to get something now that flashes up in the middle of my screen yelling “USE THE TRINKET SEPH” because otherwise I forget. All ideas welcome. Oh, and if you can find one to remind me to put up a lightwell too that would be good, because the yellow sticky I have attached to my screen isn’t working either
