Sad Panda wants Pet Panda
OMG! Why Blizzard? Why? Why did you make one of the cutest pets you can get in the game something that you have to pay for right when I’m having a RL cash crisis? Why, when I play this game to escape from my stress and worries, did you put something so cute as a PAY REAL CASH for it. I know, I know, it’s only $10 (£9 for you Brits), but when you told your daughter she couldn’t have new socks because you’re a little low on funds it’s not easy to go off and buy an in-game pet.
Dammit - I could bloody well buy it in game! In game I’m rich.

I guess he’s gonna have to go on my Christmas list or something. How sad is that - all I want for Christmas is a Pandaren Monk pet in a stupid online game. A game which I’ve apparently stopped blogging about, then posted twice in 2 days.
Time to eat chocolate.
Oh and good WOW news - we killed Jaraxxus in 10-man Heroic this week.
Oh and I’m not fussed by the Lil’K.T. - he’s ugly, but the Panda…. I love bears. I love Pandas. He bows, he does Kung Fu. He’s cute and cuddly. Argh! *** insert frustrated scream here ***

*hugs* I know the feeling with the cash crisis - I’m only just now finally starting to land on my feet after 5 years of financial strain. To say it sucks is an understatement, so you have my sympathies. x

It’s an annoying move by blizzard. One thing to add pets via another game they sell, but just put stuff in a store like that? I hate microtransactions. If you can still call 10 dollars (bet it’s 10 euros here) micro…

I know where your coming from. Money is a little too tight to just say $10 sure no problem. It doesn’t really bother me that they are selling them like this. Its just I agree with you give an option where you can use in game gold too. I can get in game gold out of game gold is called for.

Why don’t you sell some of your virtual gold for some real money so that you can use that to buy the virtual pet? =)

You could try and get somebody on your server to buy the pet, give you the code and give them in-game gold. Just make sure that this type of transaction works out as I just read this idea on another blog …
