Anatomy of a Raid
I found this and it made me laugh…

It kind of scares me to think how much of it might actually be true for some guilds and players. The sorts of pressures we put on ourselves and others in this game worry me at times.
I hope you are all finding time to ENJOY the game and not feel pressured by others (or yourself).
Seeing the WOW world through the eyes of my 8 year old daughter as we play our fantastic Paladin / Hunter combo is helping me to relax and enjoy. (Jeez Paladin stuff is confusing - I need to read more about how to play). Being on a PVE server helps too
Hello Larisa! We’re pacifist baby Horde on your server.

Hee hee this is *so* true. The number of times I heard “brb [insert domestic emergency here] mid raid” used to make me wonder…. especially when one of the [emergencies] was ‘think I set the room on fire….’ Along with ’sorry I’m late - the house was struck by lightning’ (followed up by pics of said house in the guild forum!) we can all get sucked into WoW and fail at prioritising sometimes I guess

Oh Gosh! That has reminded me of my best one! We had a guy who disappeared for a while in the middle of a raid. He came back and said “sorry I can’t stay, my dog has just eaten my Guinea Pig”. None of the rest of us knew whether to laugh or cry. Poor guy stopped playing after that I think he was so traumatised.

Hey Larisa (sorry - I can’t work out how to get the fancy i). Daughter and I made some baby Alliance as well, so I may pop along and say Hello
I made a Horde to be with some friends who migrated there and made Horde for a change. I have a baby Priest and a Baby Paladin there. They are in the guild Sparta. SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Woot, you are? But why did you pick horde? What a shame! I do have a horde dk, but tbh I don’t play her at all currently, so the chance that we’ll bump into each other is minimal… But feel free to come and say “hi”!
