Single Abstract Noun - AMAZING

8 March, 2010 (19:34) | Uncategorized | By: admin

On Friday evening I took the plunge and created a new character with the aim of finding out a bit about Single Abstract Noun. The amazing brainchild of Tam and friends…. It’s a guild for, about, by bloggers or people with some vague interest in blogs.

Read about it here. Unless you’re in the US, in which case read here. Or read both - they are worth it. Go on - go read…..

So I turned up on Argent Dawn and tried to work out what class to play. The trouble is they are Horde. I have problems with most Horde races because I can’t make them pretty. I know people like Larisa and Tessy are finding being a cow attractive, but I can’t make that leap yet. So - I had to be a Blood Elf. That left Paladin or Priest as the healer options, because I panic if I start looking sick and can’t heal myself. I’ve not really enjoyed my baby Paladin recently, so it was another priest then….

Sephrenía (with a funny i because the real version was taken) was born.

I whispered Larisa who tossed me a guild invite and joined the happy guild. It was the best guild chat experience I’ve had in ages. Levelling is going to be so slow because I want to read chat all the time. I spent an hour and a half online and only got to level 2!

There are many famous and many not so famous bloggers there. It’s a haven for people who write, read or even just like the thought of blogs. What else would you expect from a group of people who love communication than a full and frantic guild chat. It was informative, saucy, fun, amusing, peaceful and a refreshing change from my current raiding guild, where guild chat has whithered and is almost dead. I loved it.

Thanks to all who are part of it, those who created it and the wonderful people I’ve met and chatted with.

Amazing is the word! Just don’t expect to level anytime soon. But so what?

I felt just like you did and was a bit upset that I could not make a pretty belf druid, but somehow after having played my big bull for a few levels I was totally in love :P

I’m glad you’re having fun - it was great to see you there. Also soon, soon, you will come to appreciate the true beauty of the cow … and then you’ll know you’re truly a Hordie :)
